Norma Linda Gonzales, age 68, of Corpus Christi, left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father peacefully at her home (Violet Rd.) on January 16, 2023. She was a beloved mother, wife, MoMo, sister, Mema, Neice, Godmother and dear friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto Rosas and Betty Sue Rosas of Corpus Christi; Twin Brother, Gilberto Rosas, Jr of Corpus Christi; Brother, Alexander Rosas of Corpus Christi and Rolando Rosas, Corpus Christi.
She is survived by her Husband, Benito S. Gonzales, Jr.; daughter, Betty Sue Gonzales of San Antonio, daughter, Lillian Neely and husband, Brett Neely of Banquete, Esmeralda Hill and her husband, Brian Hill of Odem; sister, Diana Matula and husband, Tom Matula of Corpus Christi, Gilberto Rosas of Corpus Christi, Eddie Rosas and his wife, Jennifer Rosas of Corpus Christi; and her precious grandchildren, Benjamin and Mia Neely.
She was a business owner of G&E Demolition for the City of Corpus Christi known for her hard work and dependability to get the job done right. She excelled in an Industry of Men through her hard work and determination her business became the Go to contractor for the city of Corpus Christi to get an important job done with a quick turnaround. She helped raised all of her siblings. She was in the PTA and the home room Mom for her daughters. She was known as Mom or “Taxi Mom” to her daughters friends. She had a love for gardening, bird watching, she loved dogs and her cats. Norma’s grandchildren were her world and you could always find her in the stands, bleachers, along the fence, on the court sidelines, attending their school events and in the car. She was their biggest cheerleader in everything they did. She was the Matriarch to our family and her Family is everything to her. Although she has left a huge hole in our hearts we are all happy she is now HOME and pain free! She loved her family so fiercely one may call it aggressive! We will forever be in her protected arms.
