Throughout his life, he was known for his enthusiasm for reading and his unwavering support for the Tennessee Vol football team. Billy was especially fond of spending time with his grandchildren, cherishing the joy they brought into his life.

He was a proud member of the Polar Bear Club, reflecting his adventurous spirit and commitment to embracing life's challenges head-on. His warm and engaging personality endeared him to many.

Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Patti Loines, and his son, Thomas Emory, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and resilience. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Margaret Clark, and his sister, Pam Pike, who were integral to his upbringing and who will be remembered fondly in his memory.

A graveside service will be held on December 9, 2025, at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas. The service will begin at 10:00 AM.
