Bobby Ray Newkirk, died at his home August 2020 in Corpus Christi, where he lived most of his life and was born May 5, 1942 in Edinburg, Texas. Proud parents, Fred W. Newkirk and Florine Faye Newkirk. He graduated from Ingleside High School in 1963. Bobby joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea where he was in the K9 unit for two years. Bobby is survived by his younger brother Marion F. Newkirk and wife Kathy. He is also survived by his younger sister Judy K. Worsham and husband Stephen which all live in Corpus Christi. He had 4 nieces, Carla Lori, Tracy, Stacy, and 3 nephews, Terry, Dave, and Eric. Also, numerous great nieces and nephews. He was lucky enough to have a great stepmother, Frankie Newkirk in his life. Graveside service will be held September 9, 2020 at 1:00pm at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. Bobby’s passions were his love of dancing, guns, and working hard at what ever job he had. He would also love talking about that job to whomever would listen. He was our brother, who we will love and miss always. Rest in the hands of our lord.
