Charles B. Cline Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, was born on October 20, 1943, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He passed away on February 4, 2026, leaving behind a life defined by service, dedication, and deep love for his family.
Charles attended Ray High School in Corpus Christi, where he graduated in 1962. Shortly thereafter, he proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War era. Following his military service, he built a long and respected career as an electrician with Lyondell. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) for 30 years, known for his strong work ethic, skill, and reliability.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Cline Sr. and Geneva Cline.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Donna Cline; his sister, Ann Sijansky (Henry); his children, Chris Cline (Whitney) and Deborah Cline; his grandchildren, Faith Longoria, Hunter Cline, McKenzie Cline, and Macie Norris; and his great-grandchildren, Lennon and Freddie Longoria.
He also leaves behind lifelong friends Butch Dohmann and James Doyle, whose friendship he cherished throughout his life.
Above all, Charles was a family man. He took great pride in providing for and supporting his loved ones and found his greatest joy in time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his strong will, loyalty, and the steady presence he offered to everyone who knew him.
Charles B. Cline Jr. will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, service, and commitment will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
