Charles Foster Leeper, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away at Windsor Calallen at the age of 86.
Charles was born to Charles and Eula Leeper on June 1, 1934, in Marietta, Oklahoma. He graduated from nearby Thackerville High School. Upon graduation, Charles joined the Army and served for two years in Korea and Japan.
When he returned home, he married Virginia, the love of his life, on September 2, 1955.
He worked at Borden Dairy in Oklahoma, North Carolina and Texas for over 40 years. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling the country in his RV with his family. When at home, he spend his time working on his acreage and watching John Wayne movies. He wrote two novels in his spare time and enjoyed woodworking. He regularly attended Faith Church in Orange Grove, Texas. He was proud to be a Deacon in the Baptist Church and was a member of the Gideons International.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Penton.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia, of Corpus Christi, Texas; children, Keith Leeper of Orange Grove, Texas and Kay (Frank) Crawford of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers, Bobby (Sally) Leeper of South Padre Island, Texas and Kenny (Jane) Leeper of Norman, Oklahoma.
