Charlette Gilbreth, 74, went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2021.

Charlette was a well-known cosmetologist in the Calallen and Annaville area for over 40 years. She loved her family, especially her Grandsons as well as her four dogs. When Charlette was able, she loved cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, trail rides, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Charlette was born February 20, 1946, in Marianna, Arkansas to Nettie L. and Buford G. Young. She is preceded in death by her parents, her Sister Francile Rabalais and Brother-in-Law Scotty Rabalais, her Sister Julie Hall and Nephews Brian Hall and Kevin Hall.

Charlette is survived by her daughter, Becky Clark and Son-in-Law Greg Clark of Corpus Christi, Texas; Grandsons Chance Sharpe of Midland, Texas and Weston Sharpe of Corpus Christi, Texas; her step-grandsons Brendan Clark of Orange Grove, Texas, Dustin Clark (Reanna) of Orange Grove, Texas and Brice Clark of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by her Sister, Linda Stafford of Edroy, Texas, her Nephew, Randy Larson (Donna) of Edroy, Texas; her Nephew, Johnie Goodman (Laura) of Waelder, Texas; her Niece Kathy Hill (Bobby) of Corpus Christi, Texas and her ex-Son-in-Law, Shane Sharpe of Corpus Christi, Texas as well as numerous other great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her Grandsons, Chance Sharpe, Weston Sharpe, Brendan Clark, Dustin Clark, Brice Clark, and her Nephew, Randy Larson.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Sawyer-George Funeral Home and will be officiated by Charlette’s Brother-In-Law, Fred Hall. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas.
