Clifford Adkison

Clifford Gerald “Jerry” Adkison, 58, of Sandia, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010. He was born September 2, 1951 in Meridian, Texas to Clint Clifford Adkison and Madie Parsons Adkison. Jerry was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Viet Nam War and was a machinist. He was preceded in death by his father, Clint Clifford Adkison. He is survived by his daughters, Tina Doggett of Nursery, Texas and Ashli Adkison of Corpus Christi, Texas; his son, Eric Adkison of Victoria, Texas; his mother, Madie Adkison of Sandia, Texas; his sister, Peggy Alphin of Corpus Christi, Texas; his brother, David Adkison of Victoria, Texas; six grandchildren, Harley, Hunter and Jaspar Doggett, Morgan and Madison Fort and Lindsey Adkison. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Burial will follow.
