Cynthia Garcia Silva

Cynthia Garcia Silva, 55, of Kingsville, Texas passed away December 26, 2024. She was born in Kingsville, Texas on August 22, 1969. Cynthia graduated from H.M. King High School and received Bachelor of Education from Texas A & I. Cynthia had a career in teaching for Welder Elementary. She retired December 31, 2024. 

Cynthia was a member of Las Guadalupanas, Alter Society, Hospitality and had a passion for reading, making origami, attending Houston Texan games, and making Christmas decorations. 

She was preceded in death by Mateo Moises Silva, Sr. (Grandfather), Esmeregilda Silva (Grandmother), Jose Luis Aguilar, Sr (Dad). 

She was survived by Lupita Wells (Mother), Alan Wells (Step-Dad), Joseph Moses Aguilar (brother), Jose Luis Aguilar, Jr (brother), Maria Lupita Liguez (sister), four nieces, and five nephews. 

Public Viewing scheduled for Monday December 30th at 4:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Family and Friends will gather at St. Peter the Prince of Apostle church at 9:30 AM with Mass beginning at 10AM. Interment scheduled for a later date.
