David Oden

David Lynn Oden, 62, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. He was born January 10, 1955 in Levelland, Texas to Raleigh Louis and Wanda Rozelle Mitchell Oden. He attended Calallen schools and graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School. He showed the grand champion sheep one year in the Nueces County Junior Live Stock Show. He had worked for Quality Machine and Miller’s Bar Be Que. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his father, R. L. Oden. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Rozelle Oden; his sister, Susan (Gary) Sharpe; his brother, Matt (Wendy) Oden; nieces and nephews, Amber, Samantha, Raleigh, Cheston and Grace. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Grace United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice. The family would like to especially thank the Northwest Villa where he resided for their love and wonderful care of David.
