Diana Trevino Briones

It is with great sorrow and love that we mourn the passing of Diana Briones, 79. Our beloved Mother, Spouse, Daughter, Step-mother, Sister and Friend passed away on April 27, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered by her Son (Juan Briones), daughter-in-law (Nancy Pedraza), her Step-children ( Jesse Briones, Norma Smith), 6 Step-grandchildren, 14 and counting Great Grandchildren, her Sister (Kika Hernandez), and numerous Nieces, nephews, and family friends that were considered, by her, to be her own children and siblings. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 4 Brothers, Sister, and several Nieces, Nephews, and Close Friends.

Diana was born in Petronilla, Tx and was raised in Driscoll, Tx. She worked many care related jobs during her life. From caring for the special needs clients of the State School, to being the nanny of Benjamin Holt (younger brother to Peter Holt , owner of the SA Spurs), to caring for many elderly persons as a home health provider.

She enjoyed her hobbies, which included arts and crafts like sewing, quilting, coloring, gardening and making beadwork decorations. She enjoyed playing games whether it be loteria, word searches, or various games on her phone, tablet and game boy. She Loved Coca-Cola memorabilia and Disney cartoons. She was a lover of animals, who raised and cared for cats, dogs, birds and fish.

The Family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Christus Spon Shoreline hospital for their care and compassion.
