Diane Baumann

Diane Elizabeth Bauman of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 72. Diane served three years in the U. S. Navy as an Airedale, keeping track of the flight time of student pilots for her squadron. After the Navy, she attended Corpus Christi State University earning a Master’s Degree in Art. She excelled in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture. After graduation she balanced her art interests with raising a family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Adellia Carrothers. She is survived by her brother, Rick; two sisters, Sandy and Tami; husband, Jerry Bauman; three daughters, Danielle Speicer, Maria Bauman and Sarah Meador; two grandchildren, Zain Hale and Chevelle Meador. Graveside services with full military honors will be conducted at 11:00 A. M. Friday, February 7, 2020 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. Following the service, there will be an informal gathering at 12918 McBurnett.
