Donald George

Donald Lee George, age 84, of Robstown, Texas passed away October 7, 2018. he was born January 12, 1934 in Oronogo, Missouri. He moved from Pittsburg, Kansas to Corpus Christi, Texas in December 1957. He began working at the Chevolet dealerships until 1979 when he became a auto mechanic instructor at Bee County College , Beeville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gertrude (Griffis) George and siblings, Jack, Robert, Lonnie, Mildred (Woodson) , Sibyl (Storm), Joe, Earl and Lloyd George. Daddy was the youngest of nine siblings. He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve (Edwards) George of 62 years on November 19, 2015. Our parents were very proud of their children, Don (Marsha) George and Janet (Ronnie) Armstrong; Grandchildren, Michael(Amy) Armstrong and Jennifer (Conrad) De La Paz. Great grandchildren, Jonathan and Shannon Armstrong and Candence and Anthony De La Paz. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas The family would like to thank Windsor Calallen for their love, support, and care of our father.
