Donald Smith

Donald "Don" Smith of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away December 3, 2019. He was 85. He was born in Englishtown, New Jersey, on January 19, 1934. He and his wife, Anita, resided in Old Bridge, New Jersey until 2004 when they moved to Texas to be close to their daughter and grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Anita; father, Andrew; mother, Minnie; siblings, Edna, Kate, Asher, Dot, Andy. Don will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Donna Howard; 4 grandchildren, Tracy (Kevin) Dielmann, Jessica Thomas, Doug Thomas, Katie Howard; 2 great grandchildren, Harlan and Asher Dielmann; brother, Bobby; sister, Marion; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main St, Spotswood, New Jersey, 08884, Sunday, December 8, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 9, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Old Tennent Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Embrace campaign at Annaville Baptist Church in honor of Don.
