Donna Faye Masters Fletcher

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Faye Masters Fletcher, of Victoria, Texas. She passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 78 surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 25, 1947, to the late Robert Leroy Masters and Dorothea Earlene Wright Masters. Donna was the youngest of four girls. She graduated from Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married the love of her life Johnny Fletcher on January 13, 1971. They were married for 54 wonderful years. She worked for the Texas Department of Public Safety Licensing Department in Alice, Texas for many years. She then finished her working career with Flournoy Drilling Company in Alice, Texas. Her favorite past times were being with her husband, going to dances, parties, family functions, enjoying the outdoors and shopping.

Donna lived a full and vibrant life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She never missed a birthday, holiday, car show, bike race, sporting or cheerleading event. She attended every event her children or grandchildren participated in and was deeply involved in their lives. Donna will be remembered for her kindness, generous heart and unwavering love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her caring and loving husband, Johnny Fletcher, Sr., children, Tracy Fletcher Quinney, Chad E. Fletcher (Jenna), Rhonda Fletcher Kline (Artie) and Johnny Fletcher, Jr. She was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, John Wayne Quinney, Dana Fletcher Osborn (Blake) and Kylie DeLaine Quinney. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Kyla Quinney, Austyn J. Osborn and Jayva Quinney. She is survived by her sisters Patricia Masters Davis (Sonny †) and Mary Masters Powell (Kenneth †) as well as a brother-in-law Glenn E. Fletcher (Loretta †), sisters-in-law Bobbe Lou Bain (Michael) and Nancy Lee Neely (Bud). She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly. Donna is preceded in death by her parents (Robert Masters & Dorothea Wright Masters); her sister, Barbara Masters Lawrence; nieces Lisa Michelle Powell and Tammy Faye Wetula. Sisters-in-law, Patsy McCorkle, and Betty Joe Larsen.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ty Meyer and the Nurses at Hospice of South Texas Dornburg Center of Compassion in Victoria, Texas. The care, compassion and attentiveness given to our Mom is appreciated.
