Dorothy Lynn Todd, a beloved mother, grandmother, and respected member of her community, passed away on February 3, 2026, in the warm embrace of her family. Born on November 4, 1954, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, she touched the lives of everyone around her with her indomitable spirit and kind heart.
A proud graduate of Alice High School, Dorothy grew into a dedicated woman who would later become a retired oil field owner. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her love for the simple joys in life. She cherished spending time outdoors under the sun, often engaging in merriment and laughter, particularly with her treasured grandson, Jason Jr. Family was at the core of who she was, and she fostered lifelong bonds with her children—Tanya Perales, Stacy Todd, Travis Wayne Todd, and Jeffery Todd—raising them with unconditional love and unwavering support.
Dorothy’s journey was not without its challenges. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Travis Todd, and her dear parents, Johnny and Lucille Brown, whose values she carried through her life. Her brother, Joseph Perales, also left this world before her but remains a cherished memory in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
Dorothy was an embodiment of love and warmth—a woman who revered family above all else. Her laughter rang loudest during gatherings, her presence brought comfort and joy, and her unwavering encouragement inspired many. She was loved by so many and will forever be missed, leaving a legacy written in love and cherished memories.
