Edward Frank Anthony passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on June 2, 1948, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Edward attended Ray High School in Corpus Christi. He will be remembered as a man who was always busy building something or thinking of something new to build. His hands and mind were rarely still, and that spirit of creativity and purpose was a lasting part of who he was. Beyond his projects, he treasured time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and he also enjoyed traveling the country in an RV, creating memories along the way.

Above all, Edward’s life was rooted in the people he loved. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Anthony. He also leaves behind his son Drey Anthony and Drey’s wife, Brenda; his son Timothy Anthony; his daughter Tara Lowe and Tara’s husband, Scott; his stepson Kyle Balusek and Kyle’s wife, Laura; and his stepdaughter, Leslyn Greenier. His family was a central part of his life, and the time he shared with them will remain a cherished legacy in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Don Anthony and Nelda Anthony.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later time. Edward will be remembered with love for his industrious nature, his enjoyment of travel, and the deep care he held for his family across generations.
