Emaleen Scogin

Emaleen Jennings Scogin, 90, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at her home after an illness. She was born August 14, 1926 in Mathis, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Thomas and Lela Lerleen Bomer Jennings and her beloved husband, B. R. “Bill” Scogin. She is survived by her daughter, Glenna (Jim) Elliff ; her granddaughters, Nikki (Robby) Parkinson and Christine (Jason) Beers; her great grandchildren, Tommy and Mike Beers and Lela Parkinson; her sister, Ida Belle Dugger; three nephews, Ronnie, Scottie and Tommy Dugger. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Robstown Memorial Park with Larry Cash officiating. Burial will follow. Friends are asked to make contributions to their favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
