Ernesto Castro, Sr.

Ernesto Castro, Sr., 67, of Corpus Christi, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 21, 2022.  He was born January 4, 1955, in Corpus Christi to Ricardo Castro and Ernestina Cabrera Castro.  Ernesto served as an Elder at Arlington Heights Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Edna Castro Castillo.

He is survived by his wife, Lucia Castro; his daughters, Tina Garza and Elizabeth (David) Andaverde; his son, Ernest Castro, Jr.; two grandchildren, Lexi Castro and Elijah Castro; his sisters, Norma (Rocky) Resendez and Irma Castro; and his brother, Victor Castro.

Funeral services for his family and friends will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with David Srygley officiating.  Graveside services will be private for the family only. Pallbearers for the services will be David Andaverde, Elijah Castro, Luis Castro, Cameron Diego Diaz, Matthew Diaz, and Westin Saenz.

The family wishes to inform you that masks will be required at the funeral service.
