Evelyn Boultinghouse

Evelyn Louise Boultinghouse passed away peacefully at 2:13 P.M. January 3, 2011 in Mathis, Texas. Evelyn was born to Adolph and Etta Bartz Poldrack on April 13, 1926 in Thrall, Texas. She married Lelan A. Boultinghouse, Sr. on January 13, 1942. They were longtime residents of San Patricio County. While spending her later years in Mathis, Texas, she was active in Grace Lutheran Church Altar Guild, V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary and Sweeny Switch Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Survivors are Lelan A. "Jake" Boultinghouse and wife Delores of Weslaco, Texas and Dudley Ray Boultinghouse and wife Vicki of Pasadena, Texas; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother, Wilbur "Buster" Poldrack and wife Shirley of Calallen, Texas; sister, Lorene Braden and husband Ray of Flour Bluff, Texas. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, January 6, 2011 in Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel in Corpus Christi, Texas. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas.
