George Horton

George L. Horton, 83, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015. He was born December 31, 1931 in Caradan, Texas to Elton and Linnie Horton. He married Ruth Ford on November 3, 1950. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Ford Horton of Corpus Christi, Texas; his son, Davy Horton of San Antonio, Texas: his daughters, Debra (Tommy) Hendricks and Kathy Horton both of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, Reta Bell Nicholson of San Saba, Texas; his brother, Roger Horton of Goldthwaite, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until Noon Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Seaside Memorial Park. Burial will follow.
