Glenda Gunter

Glenda Gunter, age 75, of Calallen, passed away December 11, 2018. She was born June 3, 1943 in Donna, Texas to John H. and Evelyn Webb. Glenda was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a long time member and Sunday School teacher of Annaville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Chris. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Claude Gunter; a son, Johnnie (Cherie) Gunter of Canton, Georgia; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanie Goldman of Sinton, Texas and Judy McGee of Corpus Christi, Texas; and nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family present will be from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Annaville Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Simmons and Bro. Pat Bullock officiating. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to Glenda’s Sunday School Class, in care of Annaville Baptist Church, 4025 Violet Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410.
