Jane Marie Reutter

Jane Marie Reutter, aged 89, passed away on October 6th. She was preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Lorena Wiegmann; her beloved husband of fifty-nine years, Franklin David Reutter; her daughter, Debra Reutter Fels; and her brother, Claude Wiegmann. 

She is survived by her son, David Reutter; two granddaughters, Amanda Fels Box (Jason) and Allison Fels Locke (Kevin); one great grandson, Andrew Box; her son-in-law, Howard Fels; sister-in-law, Alice Reutter Krull; and a chihuahua named Muffin.

She was the church secretary at First Lutheran Church in Corpus Christi for many years and then a medical transcriptionist for many more years. When she eventually did retire, she continued to work as a volunteer at Citizens Medical Center in Victoria, Texas. She loved gardening, yard work, traveling, and going to arts-and-crafts fairs. In recent years, she enjoyed being a part of her church group that make quilts that are donated to a local charity for the disadvantaged. 

A funeral service will take place on Monday, October 16th at 10 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Robstown, Texas.
