Preceded in death by her parents William and Hannah Barnes, and her brother Mike Barnes.
Survived by her husband Al Zankas, her sister Bitta Maeker and her three children Robert Pegg, Mark Pegg and Kelly Pegg and by her five grandchildren William, Elizabeth, Robert IV, Andrew and Margaret (Maggie)
Attended the University of Texas in Austin and worked as a CPA until retirement.
