Haroldine Fox, age 86 of Robstown, left this earth peacefully, with her loving husband by her side on February 2, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Damon Harold and Alma Dora Herwig and brother Errol Herwig.

She is survived by her adoring husband of sixty-seven years, Curtis Fox, Sr.; sister-in-law, Jeanette Herwig (late Errol Herwig) of Yorktown, TX,; sister, Dana Loessin of Pflugerville , TX,;  brother, Steve Herwig of Bossier City, LA.; her loving children, daughter, Janice Carroll (Bobby) of Refugio, TX, and son, Curtis Fox Jr. (Ellen) of Robstown, TX.  She was Grandine to her precious grandchildren, Kelsey Garcia (Anthony Quintanilla) of Goliad, TX, Kami Amaro (CJ) of Refugio, TX, Colton Carroll (Brittain) of Corpus Christi, TX, C.W. Fox of Banquete, TX, Hailey Fox of Banquete, TX, Zoe Lozano of Robstown, TX and Cody Wayne Fox of Robstown, TX; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was Aunt Haroldine to 16 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Haroldine graduated Salutatorian of Robstown High School. She was extremely involved in her high school band as an outstanding twirler, drum major and state champion percussionist. Upon high school, Haroldine attended Southwest Texas University.  Once returning home to Robstown, Haroldine married her high school and life long sweetheart on June 18, 1955. Soon after she began dedicating her life by serving her family and others through work and volunteering.  Haroldine worked with Robstown Savings and Loan Association for 47 years. She was a loyal employee and continued to serve the company in many capacities over the years and throughout multiple mergers. Haroldine finished her career as Regional Vice President of Coastal Banc.  She also earned her Real Estate License while working tirelessly with the bank. Throughout her career she received many awards such as, Membership Blitz CC Chamber of Commerce, President of the NW business association, W.O.M.A.N. Award-Five Points Area B&PW, Ys’ Women and Men in Careers award, President of Beautify 1988 of Corpus Christi and Volunteer of the Year-Beautify Corpus Christi 2004. Haroldine volunteered many hours as a Master Gardener, mentoring numerous children to become Jr Master Gardeners. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she served as the organizer of their Senior Citizens group, held multiple positions on the church council and was member to many bible study groups. The Nueces  County Jr Livestock show was also a passion of Haroldine’s volunteerism. For many years, she volunteered her time judging in the Home EC Division and was a member of the Buyer’s Buffet Committee. In her retired life, Haroldine enjoyed her many cruises and trips with Curtis, close friends and family, as well as her monthly lunches and shopping trips with her best gals from high school. She loved scrapbooking, traveling, decorating loved ones homes, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, soaking up the sun while celebrating numerous holidays at their lake house, and she loved her Lord. Her faith and love for the Lord was shown in every aspect of her life. Haroldine was an exceptional woman whom left an incredible mark on our earth and she will be missed immensely.

Celebration of Love and Life will be Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 10:30 a.m at St. John Lutheran Church, 3316 Hummingbird Ln. Robstown, TX 78380. The family asks that you wear bright colors to help celebrate Haroldine’s vibrant personality.
