Jerry Gerber

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Jerry Samuel Gerber passed away at home January 27, 2022 after a brief illness.  He was 82. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Klyda, three sons Phillip Gerber of Syracuse, New York, Eddie Gerber of Odem, Texas, and Jeffery Gerber of Rochester, New York. He had seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gerber and his mother, Violet Gerber Ryel.

He enjoyed a career in flying for forty plus years.  Early in his career he was a flight instructor, later he was an executive pilot for Savings and Loan.  Ending his career flying air freight out of Corpus Christie for seventeen years before his retirement in 2004.

He enjoyed various outdoor activities, camping, boating, building and flying model airplanes.

There are no final events planned as his wishes were for no services.
