J.R. Atkinson

J. R. “Cotton” Atkinson, 85, a three year resident of Cleveland, Texas, and a former longtime resident of Calallen, Texas, passed away in Cleveland on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Carole (David) Martin; a grandson, Allen (Nadine) Erigan; a great granddaughter, Paige Erigan all of Cleveland, Texas; a brother, Charles Atkinson of Odem, Texas; sisters, Geraldine Miller and Alta Ruth Roberson of Calallen, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until service time at 2 P.M. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Services will conclude in the chapel.
