Obituary

Juliann Lindenberg went to be with her Lord and Savior July 9, 2026, surrounded by her two daughters Linda and Pam. Juliann was born August 16, 1937 and grew up in Kingsville, TX with her parents Walter and Julia (Ahrens) Henderson.

Juliann met the love of her life, Ray Lindenberg through mutual friends. He was a radio operator at NAS Kingsville. Juliann jokingly agreed to date Ray because he drove a convertible. Juliann and Ray married June 15, 1956 and shortly thereafter Ray deployed to Guam, and Juliann followed him. While in Guam their first daughter, Pam was born April 27, 1957. Soon, Juliann and Ray returned to Kingsville and gave birth to their second daughter, Linda, November 20, 1958.

The family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where Ray and Juliann started their own business, General Air Conditioning and Heating. Their daughters attended and graduated from Tuloso-Midway I.S.D. Juliann and Ray planned and took their daughters on annual vacations all across the United States, especially North Dakota, where Ray was from. After her husband Ray passed away, August 2, 2006, Juliann and her two daughters continued annual road trips, usually around Ray’s or her own birthdays.

Juliann greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was Grandmother to her four grandchildren, and GiGi to her six great grandchildren.

Juliann enjoyed needlepoint, china painting and playing canasta with her friends. While living on the bay, with Linda, she enjoyed watching all ships pass by. Christmas and Thanksgiving were a favorite of Juliann’s, with family gathering at Larry and Pam’s home.

A fun tradition she and her daughter shared were the Black Friday shopping sprees. Juliann only asked for a cup of black coffee to be in the car waiting for her at 4:30 AM. Part of their fun was wearing matching shirts that were always commented on by other shoppers.

Juliann was preceded in death by her parents Walter E. and Julia R. (Ahrens) Henderson, her brothers James and Joe Edward, and her husband Ray O. Lindenberg.

Juliann is survived by her daughters Pamela (Lindenberg) Alaniz (Larry Shockey), Linda Lindenberg, her grandchildren Stephen L. Patterson, Jennifer Patterson, Kristofer L. Alaniz (Amanda) and Daniel L. Alaniz, her great-grandchildren Colton Parks, Carter Patterson, Evelyn Alaniz, Raylan Patterson, Braxton Patterson, and Ryan Alaniz.

Pall Bearers will include Stephen L. Patterson, Kristofer L. Alaniz and Daniel L. Alaniz.
