Kari Leigh Grantz, 51, of Robstown, Texas passed away on September 29, 2021. She was born to Kay Wright and the late Wayne Pittman on November 6, 1969 in Robstown, Texas.
She married her soul mate, Steve Grantz, on August 3, 2007. Kari was always his number one fan when he was the on track.
Kari's life was full of love, color and family. She spent her days creating artwork to spread her love for Christ with others through her business Makin HeArt. Her grandchildren brought her all the joy in the world. Kari supported each of her children in all they did from sports to racing to parenthood and so much more, she was always there.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Pittman.
She is survived by her mother, Kay Wright; her husband, Steve Grantz; her children, Jordyn Van Blarcum, Jerrod Grantz, Tory Van Blarcum (Christopher), Noah Van Blarcum, Kiehl Van Blarcum and Tara Rodgers (Max); her grandchildren, Leena Rodgers, Odin Rodgers, Presley Ruth White and Tinslee Rayne Grantz; her brother, Owen Pittman (Jaime), her six pack sisters, Leah, Cindy, Sharon, Ally and Melissa; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Services will be hosted at noon Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Journey Church. Burial will follow at Costal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Brancen Pittman, Bo Rendon, Zack Rendon, Jeff Dugan, Kendall Barber and Matthew Sablatura. Honorary pallbearers will be Leah Kaestner, Sharon Irvin, Ally Rendon, Cindy Barber, Ginny Pittman and Melissa Petitt.
