Kenneth Dungan

Kenneth O. Dungan, 83, passed away on November 19, 2015. He was born December 25, 1931 in Montgomery County, Missouri to Kenneth and Julia Dungan. He always took pride that he was a Christmas baby. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a long time member of Grace United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a good friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margret Korman. He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Joyce Dungan; son, Larry K. Dungan; daughter, Michelle Grizzell (Shannon); and grandson, Joshua Grizzell. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 14521 Northwest Boulevard, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410. Interment with military honors will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
