Kim Webb Stauffer

March 16, 1959 — January 1, 2026

Corpus Christi

Kim Elaine Stauffer, born on March 16, 1959, in Lima, Ohio, peacefully departed this world on January 1, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A cherished wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved daughter, Kim’s presence enriched the lives of those around her.

From her early years growing up in Ohio and graduating from Wapakoneta Senior High School in 1977, Kim embodied a spirit filled with love and vitality. Her passion for life was evident in everything she pursued—whether singing, playing the guitar, or sharing stories through her love of reading. She had a natural affinity for children, demonstrating warmth and kindness in all her interactions.

Kim’s professional journey led her to significant roles in education and community service. She worked at Calallen Middle School/Calallen ISD in Corpus Christi, South Texas Implement in Alice, Texas, Poudre School District in Fort Collins, Colorado, and Stars and Stripes Bookstore in Schweinfurt, Germany. In each of these positions, Kim left a lasting impression, marking her impact through both her work ethic and her genuine care for others.

Kim held close relationships with her family. She is survived by her husband, William D. Stauffer, who stood by her in life’s joys and challenges. Kim leaves behind her loving daughters, Elizabeth J. (Stauffer) Garcia and Jennifer N. (Stauffer) Cole, her grandchildren, Caleb Camden and Maycee (Elizabeth), Zoe, Evan, and Greyson (Jennifer), who will forever hold her memories dear. She cherished her father, John (Bud) G. Webb, and her brother, Kip A. Webb, along with her sister-in-law, Beth A. Webb, who was an important part of her family tapestry. Her bond with her nieces, Sarah A. Webb and Rachel L. (Webb) Burkhart, and her cousin, Scott Hardesty, added to the richness of her life and the strength of family ties. She has 6 grandchildren that she loved so much and they love her. Caleb, Camden, Zoe, Evan, Greyson, and Maycee.

In addition to her immediate family, Kim grieved the loss of her sister, Deanna C. Webb, her mother, Shirley A. Webb, her uncle William (Bill) Hardesty, and her aunt Betty Hardesty. Their memories lived on in Kim’s heart as she navigated her days, bringing love and comfort into a world that is now a bit dimmer without her radiant spirit.

Kim was also incredibly proud of her involvement with Freedom Church International Ministries in Corpus Christi, TX. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, shaping her values and guiding her actions.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home, located at 12497 Leopard St, Corpus Christi, TX 78410, on January 11, 2026. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Although she has left us, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her song may be silenced, but it will echo in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
