Luckenbach
Jun 29, 1963 — Sep 18, 2026
Robstown
Kyle Edward Luckenbach, 63, of Robstown, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2026. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on June 29, 1963, to Kermit "Luke" and Carol Luckenbach.
A proud 1981 graduate of Calallen High School, Kyle lived a life defined by generosity, joy, and an unwavering love for people. He was the kind of man who never met a stranger, someone whose easy laugh, big heart, and steady presence made everyone feel welcome. Kyle enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Whether he was tending to the land or sharing a story over a campfire, Kyle found happiness in simple moments and in the people he loved.
Kyle dedicated many years of his life to his work, spending 30+ years with Valero and later 10+ years with Hilcorp Harvest Pipeline. He also served his community with extraordinary commitment as a member of the Annaville Fire Department for 45 years, a role that reflected his selflessness, courage, and devotion to helping others.
Kyle is preceded in death by his parents, Kermit "Luke" and Carol Luckenbach and his father-in-law, Edgar Mitschke.
He is survived by those who will forever cherish his memory: his wife, Pamela Luckenbach (Mitschke); his children, Cody Luckenbach (Heather), Kaleb Luckenbach (Ashley), and Kelsi Luckenbach; his grandchildren, Cashlyn and Harper (children of Cody), and Ainsley (daughter of Kaleb); his brother, Kelly Luckenbach (Pam); and his sisters, Kara Wagner (David) and Kori Hosek (Patrick); his mother-in-law Helen Schneider (Erich); his brother-in-law Craig Mitschke (Gina); and many nephews.
Kyle’s legacy is one of kindness, service, and love, a legacy carried forward by the family he adored and the countless lives he touched. His presence will be deeply missed, but the impact of his life will continue to be felt for generations.
