Leo Bockholt, Jr.

Leo B. Bockholt, Jr., 65, of Robstown, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He was born June 16, 1953 in Robstown, Texas to Leo B. Bockholt, Sr. and Joyce Moravek Bockholt. He graduated as the Salutatorian from Robstown High School and Texas A & M University. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and was the Poultry Superintendent for the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show for the past 17 years. Leo was the former manager of Rabb Gin Company, Tide Port Petroleum Company and Petronila Gin. He owned his own insurance agency with Catholic Life Insurance Company and Farmers Insurance Company. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo B. Bockholt, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Bockholt; his daughters, Michelle (Jason) Gordon and Lisa (Kenneth) Bockholt; his grandchild, Rebekah Gordon; his mother, Joyce Bockholt; his brother, Myron J. (Tammy) Bockholt; and his sister, Rita Marie (Michael) Harris. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, November 17, 2018. The Rosary will be recited at 10 A.M. with the Funeral Mass to follow immediately, all at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the services, everyone is invited back to the St. John’s Hall for a meal and a time for fellowship.
