Alice

Lucinda Minerva Pulido, a beloved matriarch of her family, departed this world on August 23, 2025, at the age of 87. A radiant spirit, she was born on October 11, 1937, in Premont, Texas, where life would eventually guide her through various roles as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Her formative years were spent in Premont, culminating in her education at Premont High School. After a brief sojourn, Lucinda made a home in Beggs, Oklahoma, where she deftly balanced the demands of work and family. A dedicated professional, she spent her career serving in meaningful positions at Walmart and Jenks Public Schools, leaving an indelible mark on her community.

Lucinda's passions were as varied as a vibrant tapestry; she found joy in bowling, sewing, crochet, and bingo, often accompanied by her love for traveling and indulging her luck at the casino. Yet, it was in the presence of her family that she truly thrived. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Lucinda held many God children close to her heart, embracing each relationship with the sincerity and warmth that characterized her life's journey.

She is survived by her devoted daughters, Sandra George of Alice, Texas, and Nellie Boos of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her sisters, Emma Renteria of Vista, California, Aurora Hernandez of Kingsville, Texas, and Diana Vargas of Sandia, Texas; as well as her treasured grandchildren: Laura Zigler, Kayla George, Aaron Johnson Pulido, Ashley Boos, Devon Pulido, and Kris George. The light of her life extended further through her great-grandchildren, Kylie Zigler, Allison Zigler, Gaige Pulido, Elliott Pulido, and Lauren Johnson-Erickson.

Lucinda's departure leaves behind cherished memories for those who had the honor of knowing her. She is reunited in eternal rest with her father, Alberto Garcia; her mother, Estella Garcia; her beloved husband, Aniceto Pulido; her son, Rocky Pulido; and her siblings Genevieve Hernandez, Eloy Garcia, and Salvador Garcia, who now watch over her from above.

In celebrating Lucinda's remarkable life, family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. A visitation will occur on September 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Rosary from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The Memorial Service will commence at 11:30 AM, concluding at 12:30 PM, as we commemorate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Lucinda Minerva Pulido's spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. She was a beacon of strength and compassion, reminding all of us to cherish our loved ones and embrace the simple joys of life.
