Lydia Briggs

Lydia Emma Briggs, 91, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011. She was born January 25, 1920 in Lincoln, Texas to Alvin and Julia Helen Brade. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Briggs. She is survived by her daughters, Delores (Dexter) Turner of Corpus Christi, Texas and Shirley (Randy) Heister of Sommerville, South Carolina; her son, Danny (Rita) Briggs of Victoria, Texas; her grandchildren, Tanya Turner, Troy Turner, Steven Heister, Lee Briggs, Timothy Briggs and Ted Briggs; 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 9 A.M. with the funeral services beginning at 2 P.M. Friday, June 24, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeffrey Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park.
