Mark Stock

Mark Wayne Stock was born May 18, 1942 in Robstown, Texas and passed away on April 28, 2011 in Plano, Texas after a short illness. Mark Stock graduated from Robstown High School with top honors and received a college degree in business from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas. Mark served his country as a Captain in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and France. He worked for TXU in Dallas from 1975 until 1999 and enjoyed bowling on two teams and going to sports games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Floy Lee Stock of Robstown, Texas. He is survived by his sister, Margaret (Harry) Boerm of Corpus Christi, Texas and many close cousins and many good bowling friends. He was a loving son and a good brother. The Rosary will be recited at 7 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Violet, Texas with Rev. Msgr. Celestine Murray as celebrant. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Violet, Texas.
