Miki Watts, age 79, was called home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2020. She was born to parents, John Thomas Mick and Virginia Maynard Mick on September 8, 1941.
Miki lived a full and complete happy life and was loved and admired by many. She raised four daughters to be sweet, yet fierce, like herself. In addition to taking care of the household, Miki spent many years working as an Administrative Assistant at Schlumberger. Miki was Martha Stewart before Martha Stewart. She loved to sew, paint, decorate and cook. For many years Miki was an active member at the local Eagles Lodge with her late husband, Curtis Watts. She loved the fellowship and charity work of the Eagles Lodge and cherished the many memories she made while there. In addition, Miki loved to gather with her friends for cards, bunco and mahjong.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Miller and most recent husband, Curtis Watts; father, John Thomas Mick; mother, Virginia Maynard Mick; daughter, Amanda “Mandy” Elizabeth Miller; and granddaughter, Amy Michelle Wolfe.
Survivors include daughters, Melissa Wolfe (Bryan) of Corpus Christi, TX, Marty Reyes (Javier) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Melinda Smith (Ted) of Bristow, OK; granddaughters, Nicole Schempf (Foster) of Corpus Christi, TX, Alyssa Reyes of Corpus Christi, TX, Shealeigh Thompson of Bristow, OK and Layni Thompson of Bristow, OK. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Joe Watts along with various other family members and close friends.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, November 12, 2020. A Graveside Service will follow immediately after the Funeral Service at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
