Mytra Goodpaster

Mytra Lea Goodpaster, age 71, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2017. She was born on July 28, 1946 in Harlingen, Texas to Hazel Tiller and Joseph Ashley. Mytra was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, CJ Tiller. Mytra was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alan Goodpaster; her children, Steven Alan Goodpaster and wife Nettie, Kristine Waid and husband Steve, Mark Lookingbill and wife Vera, Stacey Kennedy and husband Jeff and Matt Lookingbill and wife Dawn. Grandchildren include Ashley, Amber, Jamie and Caitlyn Goodpaster, Hayden and Tanner Alan Waid, Jayci and Kayli Kennedy, and Mason Lookingbill. Great grandchildren are Justin, Ayden, Laycee and Remington Davis and Clayton Armstrong. She is also survived by her sister, Danna Garland and husband James; brothers, Robert Lee Wilson and wife Mary, Charlie Ashley and wife Phyllis. Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Robstown Memorial Park.
