Nicholas Houchin

Nicholas Lee Houchin, age 27, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away December 27, 2010. He was born September 10, 1983 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Calallen High School with academic honors, played basketball and ran track. He loved to go fishing with his dad and brothers, enjoyed music and spending time on the Frio River. At the time of his death Nick was working for C & J Energy Services and loved his job. Nick had a heart of gold and was loved very deeply by his family and will be missed until we see him again. Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Miller; paternal grandparents, Katie and Zelner Houchin. He is survived by his parents, Zelner and Terry Houchin; brothers, Jacob and Adam Houchin; maternal grandfather, Ron Miller. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
