Patricia Mitchell Trevino gained her angel wings and passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 surrounded by her family that she adored the most. She was born on August 16, 1948 to Harry and Ardythe Benson in Kenedy, Texas. Living in the Annaville area let her participate in many activities. She spent her time participating in league bowling at PJ’s Crystal Bowl and helping out at Oil Belt Little League during her sons’ early baseball years. She was an avid baseball fan and loved watching her sons and grandsons play baseball. She was a dedicated and dependable employee and had lasting relationships with many of her fellow coworkers. She married Juan (Johnny) Trevino in 2004. She was a loving wife and mother, devoted Granny, and an amazing friend to many. She also had a love for her dogs like no other.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, brother, and a nephew. Her love of her family, kids and grandkids was apparent to anyone that would listen.
She is survived by her husband, Juan (Johnny) Trevino, son Brandon (Melanie) Mitchell, son Kevin (Jennifer) Mitchell and grandchildren Blake and Clay Mitchell. She is also survived by her stepchildren John Trevino (Elizabeth), Dave Choate (Kayla), Jennifer Ruiz (Vicente Jr.), and Sabrina Trevino. She also leaves behind step grandchildren Alexis, Mariah, and Jacob Ayala.
We would like to thank Dr. Davis and his ICU medical teams at Christus Spohn Shoreline for their efforts and compassionate care. We relish the fact that our Granny is watching over us all and we will meet again one day. Rest in Peace, Patricia.
