Patrick W. Bullock, Sr. Obituary Date of Death: June 30, 2026

Rev. Patrick W. Bullock, Sr. was born in Eureka, California on August 13, 1938. As a young man he moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where he met Nancy R. Bullock. They became acquainted while working at the HEB #7 on Alameda. Pat was employed as a stocker and then became a checker. Nancy was employed in the bakery, and it didn’t take long till Pat would beg day old donuts off Nancy and later stated he thought they "were free" and didn't know that Nancy would have to pay for them after he left. They fell in love, and married on February 10, 1957 in Ingleside, Texas. They were blessed with three children whom they loved dearly and before whom they sought to model a life of honoring and serving the Lord in ministry till the day of their deaths.

Pat and his wife Nancy were in ministry for sixty-six years and Pat pastored eight churches. He and Nancy started several churches and two Christian schools. These churches kept Pat busy as a bi-vocational pastor. He taught in public schools throughout Texas in Ackerly, Garden City, and Alpine. He earned his pilot's license and flew for the Department of Agriculture. He had a welding job in Odessa, Texas building oil tanks. He did carpentry work and pastored a new church. His last full-time pastorate was with Annaville Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas where he served for eighteen and half years.

Pat served as a Director of Missions for the Heart of Kansas Southern Baptist Association in Wichita, Kansas for over ten years. He served as Associate Pastor at Summit Church in Wichita, Kansas and Summit Church Texas in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Pat served as a trustee with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in Richmond, Virginia for seven years. He served as a Trustee of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas for nine years. He also served as a Regent with the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri for five years.

Pat had the privilege of preaching the gospel in Romania and the Ukraine soon after the Iron Curtain was torn down. He held an Evangelistic meeting in Scotland and shared the gospel at the public schools there, and saw God move in a wonderful way.

Pat always had a high priority of focusing on the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of his children, Bill, Tamah, and Cindi. There were times when he made personal sacrifices in the interests of his growing children, but that’s just who he was. He always had a heart to share the gospel and further the Kingdom of God.

On the afternoon of June 30, 2026, Pat passed away at the age of 87 after a long battle with Parkinson's. Pat was preceded in death by his father, John Bell Bullock, mother Aurora Garnet Poetker, his beloved wife, Nancy R. Bullock, his brother John (Jack) Bullock, sister, nephew, John (Johnny) Bell Bullock, Jr. and great grandson, Peyton Stewart Bullock.

He is survived by his brother Ray Bullock of Alpine, Texas. He is survived by his three children, Patrick W. Bullock Jr. (Bill), Tamah Gail (Bullock) Thomas, and Cindi Jane (Bullock) Allen, four grandchildren, James Patrick Bullock, William H. B. Bullock, Jarob Anthony Bullock, and Denee Yuhas, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

He's no longer here. He’s gone home to be with his Lord and Savior and beloved Nancy. Today his highest desire for this service is that Jesus would be the focal point rather than him being the center of attention. He’s always sought to exalt his Savior in word and deed! He wants the person who hasn’t received Christ to know He loves you and longs for you to accept His gift of salvation. For the believer ensnared in sin, or broken because of some spiritual or emotional trauma he wants you to know Jesus loves you and wants to relieve you of the pain and bondage you’re in today. Simply put, He loves you and wants a renewed fellowship with you! May you be comforted, encouraged and uplifted today as we celebrate the life and legacy of Patrick W. Bullock, Sr.
