Peggy Lois Haag Butler, 80, of Corpus Christi passed away on April 25, 2026. She was born March 17, 1946, in Three Rivers, Texas to Richard and Ann Marie "Annie" Haag.
Before retirement she worked for the Calallen ISD and St. John Lutheran Church and was fortunate enough to be able to provide care for two of her grandchildren, Ryan and Riley. She loved serving her church family. Her constant care for others was a true testament of her servant's heart. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, Jack E. Butler, and her parents, Richard and Annie Haag. Peggy is survived by her children Kenneth "Ken" (Sabrina "Bri") Crowder of Calliham, Kristin Fuchs of Sandia, Kurt (Patricia "Trish") Crowder of LaVernia, and a step-daughter, Kim Kay; her grandchildren, Codi, Arianne, Brianne, Ryan, Riley, Ashley, Kai, Mikie and Emma as well as her seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Nancy (David) Pullin of Whitsett, her nephews, Darren and Lance Pullin as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life for Peggy will be held on May 7, 2026 at 10:30am at St. John Lutheran Church, 3316 Hummingbird, Robstown, Texas 78380. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, or to a charity of your choice.
