Robert Howell Phillips Jr., a cherished husband, father, son, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in Corpus Christi, Texas, surrounded by his beloved wife, Lisa. Born in Lakeland, Florida, to Margaret and Robert Phillips Sr., Robert was the youngest of four children in a loving family.
Robert had a remarkable passion for life, which he shared with his family. His favorite pastimes included date nights with his wife, showcasing their enduring love and connection. He cherished time spent watching football and NASCAR with his son. At home, he found comfort with his dogs, who he loved deeply. His love for model trains showcased his creativity and riding his motorcycle brought him a sense of freedom and adventure. The moments spent with his grandson were among his most treasured, filling his days with joy and laughter.
A dedicated truck driver, Robert traveled many miles with determination and dedication, symbolizing his journey through life. His hardworking spirit and adventurous nature will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Phillips, his children, Tabitha Phillips, Jason Phillips, Jennifer Yamaguchi, son-in-law, Kelvin Yamaguchi, and his adored grandson, Kyler Yamaguchi. He also leaves behind, numerous family members and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
