Roland Adame, 73, of Corpus Christi, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico on January 26 to Rudy and Olivia Adame.

Roland served in the US Air Force Reserves for 18 years. In 2019, he retired from his position as an aircraft mechanical parts inspector and directorate of quality management at the Corpus Christi Army Depot after 35 years of faithful service.

He enjoyed watching sports and learning about sports history and strategy. Inspiring many young athletes over the years, he was commonly referred to as "Coach" anywhere he was spotted by his former players.

His favorite actors were John Wayne and James Stewart, and he loved watching old western movies in the comfort of his living room along with his wife, Maria.

Roland's family and those who knew him remember him as a kind, giving, generous and respectful man that would leave a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure to meet him.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maria Olivia, his two children, Jennifer and Eric, as well as their spouses, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
