Rose Ann Worden, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on October 8, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, Rose was a lifelong resident of the area and cherished her roots in this vibrant community.

Rose's education began at Jefferson High School in San Antonio, where she laid the foundation for a life dedicated to caring for others. She went on to have a fulfilling career at John Polk Physical Therapy, where her compassion and dedication made a lasting impact on those she served.

In addition to her professional life, Rose found joy in many hobbies and interests. She was an avid fan of the Houston Astros, and her enthusiasm for the game brought her and her family together. She also had a special fondness for watching old western movies, relishing the stories and characters that filled the screen.

Rose Ann is survived by her devoted husband, Bruce Worden, and her loving children. She is the proud mother of Dean Worden, who is married to Melinda, and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren—Braden Worden, Embry Trevino, and Layne Trevino. Rose is also survived by her sister-in-law Terry Goerges, brothers-in-law Mark Naukem and Donald Higginbothum, as well as her nieces and nephews: Donna Higginbothum, Blakey Higginbothum, Frank Naukem, and Carl Goerges, and niece Virginia Garcia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold A. Goerges and Lucille Goerges, who undoubtedly shaped the compassionate spirit she carried through her life.

Rose Ann Worden will be deeply missed by all who knew her, her legacy of love and kindness leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of family, friends, and the community she served so well.
