In Loving Memory of Roy “Bronson” Certain

October 25, 1954 – August 12, 2025 Katy, Texas

Roy “Bronson” Certain, 70, of Corpus Christi, Texas went to be with his Savior on August 12, 2025, joining his loved ones who journeyed before him.

Born on October 25, 1954, to Barbara “Jane” and Rob Roy Certain, Bronson was raised in Corpus Christi and attended Richard King High School. He built a long and respected career in the automotive industry and planted deep roots in Calallen, where he began his young family in the 1970s and served the community as a small business owner. His work was more than a livelihood—it was a way to build lifelong friendships and serve others.

Bronson, also affectionately known as Poppi to his closest loved ones, was a believer that cherished his family and spending time making lasting memories. From time spent on the ocean where he loved fishing, playing his favorite game of golf on the greens, racing the tracks back in the day, watching the Cowboys with family and friends, but his life was at its fullest during his time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his cheesy jokes and chuckles, love of watching movies (especially science fiction), his great cooking and his boundless love for his kids and grandkids. Bronson’s life was a testament to living to the fullest, laughter, and family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
