Ruben James Lozano

Ruben James Lozano, 40, of Corpus Christi

passed away on January 28th, 2026

He was born in Corpus Christi on October 9th, 1985. Ruben attended Taft High School and Mathis High School in Texas.

Ruben had a passion for cars and mechanics and was always working on someone’s car in his free time. (As well as tearing them down through some reckless test drives)

He worked as a heavy equipment operator since he was 18 after his step-dad got him into the construction business.

He was preceded in death by his father, Armando Guerrero (biological father)

He is survived by his parents, Maria Lozano and Leonzo De Leon (step-dad)

Grandmother Baudelia Padilla.

Aunts and uncles, Barbara Ruiz, Ismael De Leon, Vanita De Leon, Primitivo De Leon, and Ruben Lozano.

Siblings Norma Jean Arellano, Leonzo, Joe, and Nikita De Leon. And by his kids, Marysa, Carlos, Alicia, Jacob, Kaylie, and Andrew.

And countless nieces/nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
