It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Earlene Snyder, a remarkable woman who graced this world with her kindness and loving spirit. Born on December 13, 1940, in Wichita, Kansas, Sandra touched the lives of many until her peaceful departure on May 5, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Sandra's career as the Office Administrator at All Saint's Episcopal Church was a true reflection of her dedication to her community and her faith. There, she embodied the virtues of warmth and compassion, offering her support and brightening the days of all who crossed her path. Her infectious smile and kind demeanor made the church a welcoming place for many, and her presence will be sorely missed.
A devoted member of All Saint's Episcopal Church, Sandra found solace and joy within its walls. Her unwavering love for her faith was mirrored in her interests; she cherished her time tending to her beloved garden and doting on her cats, which brought her immense joy. She understood the beauty of life and embraced every moment with open arms.
Sandra's legacy is carried forward by her beloved family, including her son Stonewall Van Wie (Sherrie), and extended family Marie and Dan Raines, Jeff and Betty Snyder and Danny Snyder and her six cherished grandchildren, all of whom were profoundly impacted by her nurturing spirit and have been left with beautiful memories of her love and laughter.
While Sandra has joined her dearest family members in eternal rest—her parents, Earl and Audrey Mathis, and her cherished husband, Pete Snyder—her light continues to shine through her family and friends.
A memorial service to honor Sandra will be held at All Saint's Episcopal Church on May 31, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, a testament to the profound impact she had on those she leaves behind.
Sandra Earlene Snyder will forever be remembered as a pillar of kindness and love, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
