Stacy Lynn Rebecek, who graced this earth with her vibrant spirit and relentless passion for cattle, passed away on December 12, 2025, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Born on July 17, 1968, in Robstown, Texas, to Jack and Dianne Scarborough, Stacy was a beacon of joy and enthusiasm. Her journey began in Banquete, where she graduated from Banquete High School in 1987, a year that would spark a lifetime of dreams and endeavors.
Stacy’s life was a tapestry woven from the threads of her passions—ranching cattle, riding horses, creating beautiful paintings, and competing in livestock shows. Her love for animals extended beyond the ranch; Stacy cherished her cats and found happiness in their companionship. Her warm disposition shone brightly in her culinary talents, as she delighted friends and family with her cookies, and her playful adventures in the Polaris with her beloved dogs brought laughter and fond memories.
On August 22, 1987, she married Raymond Rebecek, and together they cultivated a life rich in love and purpose. A devoted wife and mother, Stacy embraced her role with a fierce and unwavering commitment, making cherished memories with her son, Jake Rebecek, and her daughter, Shelby (Jonathan) Louderman. The laughter of her grandchildren, Briar and Evelynn Louderman, filled her heart with joy, affirming her belief that family was her greatest accomplishment.
As an active member of the agricultural community, Stacy took pride in her contributions and accomplishments. She served as the livestock show superintendent and was an integral member of the carcass steer committee, ever eager to share her knowledge and passion with young farmers through her ties to 4-H and FFA. Additionally, her foray into barrel racing reflected her adventurous spirit and desire to thrive.
Despite the challenges of life, the memories of her beloved aunt, Aletha Scarborough, continued to linger in her heart, reminding her of the bonds that tie families together even in times of sorrow.
Stacy will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but for her radiant personality, her infectious laughter, and her ability to make any gathering special. Friends and family are encouraged to honor her memory by wearing bright colors or rodeo attire to celebrate the joyous life she led.
Visitation will take place on December 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service the next day, December 19, at 10:00 AM, both at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home located at 12497 Leopard St, Corpus Christi, TX. A burial service will follow at The Banquete Cemetery at 12:00 PM the same day.
