William Bluntzer Iii

William Nicholas “Nicky” Bluntzer, III, 59, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010. He was born December 20, 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas to William Nicholas “Bill” Bluntzer, Jr. and Eugenia “Rusty” Ritter Bluntzer. Nicky was a disabled U.S. Army veteran and served in Korea as a medic during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7841 in Robstown, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, William Nicholas “Bill” Bluntzer, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Eugenia “Rusty” Bluntzer of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, Nell Bluntzer (George) Jones of Corpus Christi, Texas; his brothers, Rick (Becky) Bluntzer of Spring Branch, Texas and Paul (Marce) Bluntzer of Odem, Texas; his aunt, Naomi Bluntzer Tischler of Robstown, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Friday, October 29, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Msgr. Seamus McGowan as celebrant. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the charity of your choice.
