Willie H. (Bill) Clyburn, 91, passed away on October 16, 2021 from natural causes (old age). He passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Frank M. Tejeda Veterans Home in Floresville, TX. He will always be-known-as the hardest-working man that anyone ever met. He loved his family and Jesus Christ very deeply and never missed an opportunity to tell someone about Christ’s sacrifice for all. He was also known for the “worst” dad jokes on the planet…his favorite was to make a pun with his first name! He would say he is availaBILL, or capaBILL, and even AquaBILL because he had saved several people from drowning over the years. He would also say that his middle initial stood for “Honey”…so just call him “Willie Honey!”
Willie is survived by his beautiful wife, Jessie Ruth. He was a proud father to three sons and one daughter: Elton Lee Dunton, Bill (Billy-Bob) Clyburn and his wife K. Nichole Clyburn, Stephen (Stevie) Clyburn and his wife Stacy (Stacy-D), and Carolyn (Sissy-poo) Armstrong-(recently deceased) and her husband Ed Armstrong. And by Jesse Ruth’s children: Tinker Burriola, Oscar Burriola, Casey and Annie Burriola, Cindy and Ray Callaway and all of their numerous children and grandchildren.
Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren: Brad Dear (Reagan-spouse), Sarah Sykora (Patrick –Spouse), Joe Clyburn (Jenny – spouse), Hank Clyburn, Emilee Clyburn, Joshua Clyburn, Daniel Clyburn, William Clyburn, and Shaye Armstrong in order by age; and his great-grandchildren, Grant Sykora, Chloe Sykora, Taylor Dear, Waylon Dear, and Kellen James Clyburn.
